About CocoaVoIP

Named after a small town. Built to answer everywhere.

CocoaVoIP comes from Cocoa, Florida — the Space Coast town where our founders grew up. We run business phones on our own carrier network, we pick up when you call, and we charge what the pricing page says. That's the whole pitch.

Why "Cocoa"?

Not the drink — the town. Cocoa, Florida sits on the Space Coast, a few miles from the launch pads at Cape Canaveral. It's the kind of place where the dentist, the bait shop, and the HVAC company all know each other, and where a missed phone call is a customer who drives to the competitor down US-1.

That's the business we built this for. Not the 5,000-seat call center — the 3-person law office, the two-location clinic, the contractor whose phone isthe business. We put our hometown's name on the door because we want the service to feel the way that town does: somebody you can actually reach, who does what they said they'd do.

We're the carrier, not a middleman

A lot of phone "providers" are a logo and a billing system sitting on somebody else's network. CocoaVoIP isn't. We're a brand of Beneffy Telecom, a US carrier that owns and operates its voice infrastructure across multiple US data centers, with redundancy and around-the-clock monitoring.

That matters for two boring, important reasons. First, quality: when we control the network, we can find and fix problems instead of opening a ticket with a wholesaler and waiting. Second, price: with no middleman taking a cut, plans start at $19 per user per month — and stay there.

How we choose to operate

A human answers.

Support is US-based and staffed by people who work on the actual platform. No offshore script-readers, no "your call is important to us" purgatory. On average you reach a person in under half a minute — and we track that number like it's revenue, because it is.

Month-to-month, on purpose.

No term contracts, no early-termination fees, no retention department trained to wear you down. If we stop earning your business, leaving should take an email, not a lawyer. Keeping the exit door unlocked keeps us honest.

The sticker price is the price.

Every plan is a flat per-user monthly rate. We don't pad invoices with invented surcharges or bury the useful features in an "enterprise" tier you have to call sales to hear about. What's published is what you pay.

Switching should cost you nothing.

We port your existing number for free, handle the paperwork with your old carrier, and give you 30 days to try everything before you pay a dime. If it's not a fit, you owe us nothing — and you keep your number either way.

Small team, deliberately

CocoaVoIP is a small crew of network engineers and support folks, most of us with Florida roots, backed by Beneffy Telecom's infrastructure team. Small is a feature here: the person who configures your call routing on Tuesday is the same person who picks up when you call about it Thursday. Nothing gets lost in a handoff because there isn't one.

Where you'll find us
